\nLisette was born and raised in the Philadelphia area. She spent ten years in New York City, and now resides in Los Angeles.\n\nShe’s a multi-genre author of eight novels and one short story collection: Crooked Moon (General/Literary Fiction); Squalor, New Mexico (Coming-of-Age/Literary Fiction); Molly Hacker Is Too Picky! (Women's Fiction/Chick-lit), The Desert Series: Mystical High; Desert Star; and Drawn Apart (YA paranormal), Barrie Hill Reunion (Literary Fiction); Hotel Obscure: A Collection of Short Stories (Literary Fiction) and Love, Look Away (Women's Fiction/Chick-lit).\n\nHer ninth book, a romantic comedy, Love, Look Away, was published on October 11, 2019. Although not technically a sequel to her first romantic comedy, Molly Hacker Is Too Picky!, it is set in the same town and several characters from the first book are now supporting characters.\n\nIn addition to her eight novels and one short story collection, two more of Lisette’s short stories are published in an anthology: Triptychs (Book 3, The Mind’s Eye Series.)\n\nIn January 2013, Lisette edited and published a book of her mother's poetry (written 50 years earlier): My Way To Anywhere by Jean Lisette Brodey.
